The National Trust, the British charity and membership organisation who look after the environmental and cultural heritage conservation of hundreds of sites across England, Wales and Northern Ireland, have got a fun summer of events planned to get visitors to engage with and spend time at some of the most grand houses and venues they look after. Highlighting some of The National Trust’s most iconic and unique historic venues, the charity has prepared a summer full of music, theatre and other performances. Here are some of our highlights:
Nostell Nights at Nostell, West Yorkshire
13 July, 6pm – 9pm
An adults-only evening on 13 July, Nostell Nights offers a chance for guests to see the grand house in a new light with live music, crafts from local artists, beer tastings, poetry readings and more. nationaltrust.org.uk
Afternoon Tea with Harp Music at Bodnant Garden, Conwy
22 July, 2pm – 4pm
For an elegant afternoon tea experience like no other, book your tickets to this event in Wales. Enjoy a typically British afternoon tea in the tranquil and lush green setting of Bodnant Gardens, whilst being serenaded by award-winning harpist Dylan Cernyw. Outdoor theatre at Kingston Lacy, Dorset
The Merchant of Venice, 26 July 7pm – 9.30pm
The Tempest, 2 August, 7pm – 9.30pm
